LAT’s is a leading transportation organization committed to providing reliable and efficient bus services to our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Bus Dispatcher!
Pay: $17.50
Shift: You could be scheduled any time between the hours of 5am – 8pm Monday - Friday. (Typically 8 hour shifts). Some Saturdays may be required.
You will be eligible for benefits after 60 days!

Job Responsibilities:
- Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between drivers, passengers, and relevant personnel.
- Utilize communication tools to relay important information to drivers.
- Monitoring Operations:
- Monitor real-time bus statuses and address disruptions or delays promptly.
- Keep accurate records of bus locations, arrivals, and departures.
- Problem Resolution:
- Respond to issues such as traffic delays, mechanical problems, and other disruptions.
- Provide support to drivers in handling unforeseen circumstances.
- Customer Service:
- Assist passengers with inquiries, complaints, and other bus service-related issues.
- Provide information on schedules, routes, and fare details.
- Data Management:
- Maintain organized records of bus schedules, routes, and operational data.
- Generate reports on performance metrics and other relevant information.
- Emergency Response:
- Coordinate responses to emergencies or accidents involving buses.
- Work with emergency services and law enforcement as needed.
- Technology Utilization:
- Use computerized systems and software for managing bus schedules, routes, and information.
- Proven experience in bus dispatching or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation logistics and scheduling software preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and familiarity with computers.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick, informed decisions.
- You are required to obtain Full CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
